Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: This late middle aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. His tied-back hair is black. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Theodoric is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Animal Trainer. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is greedy; and balancing his hectic life and new animal trainer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Miller mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels kind of lost in life
