Personality: Roger wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Roger lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A freak accident while working with his Sellsword mother left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
