History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mason, and he later adopted a second daughter.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
