History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dustin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
