Description: He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sai, but if one is not available he will default to his sword. He is portly but not overly obese. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He stands about 5'11" and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears tattered old clothes. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather. He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Through the years after Gunter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gunter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
