He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.
