History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
