History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Gardener and occasionally as a mercenary.

Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
