History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a Sage, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Odo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
