History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
