History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Gerald was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Laborer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Dilettante and found it very stressful. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Henry was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
