History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mercenary. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to protect his home

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.
