History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a halberd on his belt. His hair is cut close to his head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Adelard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
