History: Bertram was born with his father's beautiful face. He married young, but lost his spouse to drow. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Bernard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
