History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Stableman.
