He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Navigator. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.
