Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Clerebold was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Healer, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.
