Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He takes great joy in being the best Mercenary in town.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and balancing his hectic life and new servant responsibilities is difficult

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears long strands of topaz and short green dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His brown eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Cory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Adam was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the north
