History: Born in the west to a Banker, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and his religion dominates his actions

His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Butcher but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Navigator who has hired him part-time. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He has worked as a Navigator like his mother before him.

Motivation: He's in love; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
