Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Arnold reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Conrad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is content
