History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to open a new tavern

He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
