History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Apothecary mother left him crippled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Miles's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
