History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. Personality: Nicholas is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now owns his own business.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
