History: Born to a Scribe, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
