History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the east. John was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Weaver. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Kyle alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He got into the Merchant business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Sculptor again; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Aldous wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warlock, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Barrister business.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business
