History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now mingles about in high society.

Justin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
