Description: He stands about 5'4" and is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is long and black with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ploughman profession.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Charles reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and he has a crush on the local ploughman

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He is physically well-built. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He has a missing left leg. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He sports a flattop hair cut. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: Randal was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'10" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
