History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Description: An older man who is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
