Description: A 5'2" southern man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ernest is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is wearing a long, blue cloak. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gunter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, green shirt, and blue tie. He carries with him a set of whips on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Simon grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His chestnut hair is cut short. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bowyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
