Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Percival was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
