History: He was raised by priests from a young age. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Chad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and money/treasure

History: He was born in a small island village. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
