Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
