Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and carries longbows. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anselm's homeland. Anselm decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He tends to wear a large black jacket. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.
Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep yellow leather and dull white iron scale mail. His hair is short and blonde. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate, and carries scimitars. His chestnut hair is still thick. His eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Hunter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Priest father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
