History: He was born in the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Lance was born the youngest of three triplets. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is greedy
