Gilbert Clayton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He typically wears violet cloth garments or leather armor. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Gilbert was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
