History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker father left him crippled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born to a Banker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and money/treasure

Description: He is lean but muscular and is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Richard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.
