History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to get a good night's sleep
