History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
