History: He comes from a rich northern family. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
