When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mason. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
