History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
