History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Geoffrey grew up listening to his father's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
