History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
