History: He was born in the north. When Miles reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sculptor.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Raymond hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Shoemaker and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He is dressed in earthy colors with a green and brown handkerchief worn on his right side, marred by beers. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 26. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and regain custody of his son

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he tends to wear a large green jacket. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Stableman.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stableman responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
