Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a great chef.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
