History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
