Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Tanner who has hired him part-time. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Sculptor mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This late middle aged man wears just a grey suit and is in decent physical shape. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of a Map Maker, who enjoyed hunting, Randal was taken on many hunting expeditions. Randal liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Alexandre wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born into a rich family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a grey coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His red hair is still thick. He has amber eyes.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Ernest is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
