Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Stableman.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. History: He was born in the east. Bertram was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tanner. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
