Personality: Bertram hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.
