History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
